The War in Palestine

by Bandar Ahmed

Gaza and the Palestinians are still suffering to this day since war broke out on October 7, 2023. After many broken and violated ceasefires, children, babies, elderly and women can't live normally and safely due to how dangerous it is. People are terrified everyday thinking they might be next to die, with no aid or food to survive. Many Palestinians and families lost their homes, family and children because of the continuous genocide from Israel/IDF, with American support. All this chaos, damage and ethnic cleansing is all done by no proper or reasonable cause. many times After every strike and bullet that has an effect on Palestinians, Israel accuses the “terrorists” Hamas of giving them reasons to do this to the Palestinian people. Israel is doing this for many many beneficial reasons of their own for instincts, they want to kill and kick out every palestinian to take over the land and make a land of real estate. Another thing is Gaza has gas and oil worth ½ trillion, that's why so much is happening like murders, and nonstop bombing. And finally, Palestine is one of the most known holy lands and very important to the Arab and islamic world where it holds precious history. It's sad seeing Israel and the IDF do everything in their power, whatever they want and don't listen to anyone because of how determined they are to take over this holy land and get rid of its people.

When interviewing my uncle, he said, “I feel heart broken for what our brothers and sisters in Palestine are going through.”

My cousin said, “It's very disturbing and sick of what Israel and IDF is doing to the Palestinian people of children, women and elderly, just to take land that's not theirs but by masacre acts. I don't support this.”

My uncle also said, “I dont support genocide, I dont support the killing of innocent chilldren whether you’re from any religon or race but I believe Palestine has a right to the land and shall be free.”

Another perspective is that “Israeli impediments that prevent Palestinians from accessing and benefiting from their own natural resources” and — “disrupts an already fragile geopolitical situation and exacerbates already dire Palestinian living conditions.” Focus On: Palestine’s Natural Resources | Al-Shabaka

“In time, [an] agreement [to import Egyptian gas across the Rafa border] could bring relief to the residents of the Gaza Strip who have been plagued by chronic fuel shortages with power outages of up to 18 hours a day.” The Gas Fields off Gaza: A Gift or a Curse? | Al-Shabaka

In the future I'm looking forward to seeing a peaceful land without violence and occupation of anyone's property. The killing and bloodshed of kids, women, and elderly from one specific group must come to an end soon. I hope to see people live peacefully with each other and be able to communicate without any violence. By this time we will be done with evil corrupt governments that hurt the people of Palestine. Looking forward to a land with no more occupation, to kids running around playing safe, and the hungry starving innocents are fed with food and come to get aided.
