Million Dollar Question: Can Drill Be Saved?

This article will be about music and how it's messed up in this new generation so I ask “can drill be saved?”

I went around asking a couple people about the questions and I got different results.  I asked a friend who doesn't listen to drill and she noted “drill can not be saved because all rappers talk about is killing and hurting people.” While I asked someone who does listen to drill and he argued that “drill could be saved in several ways. While it's often associated with violence and crime, drill music is also a form of artistic expression and can be used for educational purposes and fun.”

In my opinion I think drill can't be saved. It's already what it is. You can change something from being what it is but it is a lot of fun while you making the music and recording.

Drill music emerged as a distinct violence t genre of hip-hop in the early 2010s, primarily in Chicago. It gained traction and spread globally, with UK drill evolving in the mid-2010s and other regional variations appearing. And ever since drill started street been getting worse and worse. Young people and innocent bystanders getting hurt because other young guys wanna talk about each other dead peoples and rival gang.

For example there is the infamous Pop Smoke. According to the New York Times Pop Smoke was “the most impressive rap newcomer of 2019.” On Feb. 19  2020, “he was shot and killed in a still unsolved Los Angeles home invasion. He was 20 years old.”

This source shows me that even lawyers don't agree with drill and dislike it and think it's stupid.

Drill don’t stop after you become successful. You still have something in the past that catches up to you and it can not be saved.
