Music has always been more than just sound; it's a movement. For fans of artists like Mac

DeMarco, Arctic Monkeys, Mitski, and Weezer, one band bringing the same indie energy to a new generation is LAUNDRY DAY!
Formed in 2018 in new york city by high school friends jude ciulla, henry weingartener, sawyer nunes, henry pearl, the indie pop group transformed basement jam sessions into sold out shows and millions of streams. Through self-produced tracks, social media promotion, and nonstop creativity, Laundry Day quickly built a loyal fanbase and proved that teenage ambition can turn into a national spotlight. Maybe you've heard this band before, maybe not who knows…but have you ever seen the amazing Netflix series “On My Block?” In season 3, episode 8, the song “FRIENDS” by LAUNDRY DAY played in the scene where Monse says goodbye to the core four. That was the first time I've listened to them and surprisingly I loved every melody and music that they had since then.
LAUNDRY DAY’S newest album earworm has to be one of the best albums I've ever listened to in my opinion. With the aesthetics of the whole album cover to the expressive sound tracks. My favorite songs off of the whole album would either be “LITTLE MISS JADED” or “I DON'T KNOW THIS SONG”.
All songs are absolutely wonderful but these two stand out to me. “Little Miss Jaded” is a sugary sweet and great example of how the band can hook you with a verse while still making a chorus that simply doesn't disappoint, while "I don't know this song” is catchy melodies and fire drums and wonderful gathering lyrics. I've done interviews with others that have listened to LAUNDRY DAY and their newest album, and this is what they have to say,
“I first discovered LAUNDRY DAY in 2022 while listening to their album “Keep It Sunny.” After a break from their music, I reconnected with the band this year when they opened for Malcolm Todd live. That performance renewed my interest, and I have since been consistently listening to their music. LAUNDRY DAY is an indie-pop band from New York City, and their newest album Earworm, especially the song “Little Miss Jaded,” has become a personal favorite.”

“I really like LAUNDRY DAY’s music because of their indie-pop sound and high-energy performances. Seeing them live felt original and exciting, and songs like ‘Medicine’ and ‘Friends’ stood out to me. Their personality and humor also make them even more enjoyable as a band.”

What’s happening now for LAUNDRY DAY is continued growth as they tour and connect with new listeners through live performances. With the success of their album "earworm" and their tour called “time or your life tour”, the band is gaining more attention and building momentum. As they continue to perform and release music, LAUNDRY DAY shows strong potential for what's next in their career. LAUNDRY DAY formed in New York City and began gaining attention in late 2020 through self-released music and online platforms. The band built an early fanbase with albums like Keep It Sunny, which helped establish their indie-pop sound and playful style. Over time, their growth as performers and songwriters has led to wider recognition, culminating in the release of their newest album earworm and their other albums like “younger than i was before” “we switched bodies” “homesick”
“Keep it bright” and “trumpet boy”.
